Our position
blood.bid doesn't host user-uploaded music files or other media on its own servers — profiles link out to externally hosted media that the profile owner controls. If you see material on blood.bid that you believe is infringing, the same notice process below applies, and the fastest path to resolution is also the most helpful one: a clear notice that identifies the material and why it's a problem.
Filing a notice
Send us a notice that includes all of the following so we can identify and act on it quickly:
- Your name and contact details (email is fine).
- A clear description of the work or right you claim is being infringed.
- The exact URL of the page where the allegedly infringing material appears.
- A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use described is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information above is accurate and that you are the rightsholder or authorised to act on the rightsholder's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send the notice to the operator through the support desk, or by mail to any address we publish from time to time.
What happens next
On receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the affected account holder. The material stays down pending resolution unless we receive a counter-notice.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed in error or by misidentification, you can file a counter-notice by contacting us with:
- Your name and contact details.
- The URL of the material that was removed or disabled.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
On receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will restore the material within 10–14 business days unless the original rightsholder informs us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a record of notices and counter-notices. Accounts that are the subject of two or more valid infringement notices are terminated and banned from future registration.
Trademark notice
Holding a username on blood.bid is a record of address — it does not convey a trademark right. If you believe a username is being used in a manner that violates your trademark, the same notice process above applies. Provide the trademark registration number or equivalent in your jurisdiction, along with the elements listed under Filing a notice.
